Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-08-28

This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be endured.

Who we are

Nails by Stacy LLC operates this website and the salon at 703B Main Street, Waltham, MA 02451. You can reach us on (781) 354-7938 or at nailsbystacyllc@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. Your name, phone number, email address and any notes you send when you request an appointment by form, WhatsApp, text, phone or email.
  • Appointment records. The services you have had, so we can pick up where we left off — and any allergy or sensitivity you tell us about.
  • Website usage. If — and only if — you accept analytics cookies, aggregated statistics about which pages are visited. See our Cookie Policy.
  • Photos. Pictures of work we have done. We only publish a photo that identifies you (your face, a tattoo, a recognisable ring) if you have said yes. You can withdraw that at any time and we will take it down.

Why we use it

  • To book, confirm, reschedule and carry out your appointment.
  • To contact you about a booking, including reminders.
  • To keep you safe — for example, remembering a product you reacted to.
  • To run and improve this website.
  • To meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations.

What we never do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not add you to a marketing list without you asking to be on it.

Who we share it with

Only service providers who help us run the business, and only as far as they need it: our website host, our booking and payment providers, and WhatsApp or your phone network when you message us. Each handles your information under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Client and appointment records are kept while you are a client and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax and insurance requirements. Ask us to delete your details and we will, except where we are required to keep them.

Your rights

You may ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Massachusetts residents are protected by the Massachusetts Data Privacy Regulations (201 CMR 17.00). Just contact us and we will act on your request; there is no charge.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Client records are kept in access-controlled systems, and paper records are kept locked. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to a business of our size.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Under-18s are welcome in the studio with a parent or guardian present.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
