Meet Stacy
The short version: she came here to make beautiful things, and found out that hands were the place to start.

From fashion sketches to French tips.
Stacy grew up drawing. Dresses, mostly — sleeves and hemlines in the margins of school notebooks, then properly, in a design school where she learned that anything you make for a person is really about how it makes them feel. When she moved to the United States, the plan was fashion.
What actually happened was a job in a small salon, taken to pay the bills while she found her footing. She expected it to be temporary.
Then one afternoon a woman sat down in her chair having a genuinely terrible month. They didn’t talk much. For an hour and a half Stacy shaped, cleaned up and painted, and at the end the woman turned her hands over in the light and got a little emotional. Not about nails. About the fact that somebody had paid careful attention to her for ninety minutes.
That was the turn. Clothes come off at the end of the day; your hands stay in front of you from morning until night. Done well, they are a small private reminder that you were worth the time.
Building it properly.
She trained. She practised on every friend who would sit still, got licensed in Massachusetts, and spent years working in other people’s salons learning the difference between a set that photographs well and a set that survives three weeks of real life — dishes, gym bags, car doors, a toddler.
She added lashes, then brows and waxing, because the same clients kept asking and she would rather learn to do it properly than send them somewhere else.
And then she opened her own door on Main Street in Waltham, with her own name on it. Nails by Stacy LLC is a small studio on purpose. One client at a time, no overbooking, no assembly line.

Licensed & insured
Massachusetts-licensed and fully insured, working to state board sanitation standards. Certificates are on the wall, not in a drawer.
Everyone is welcome
Every skin tone, every nail shape, every age, every gender. Nobody gets a look for having bitten nails or for not knowing what to ask for.
Honest advice
If your nails need two weeks off, you’ll be told — even though it costs a booking. Long-term nail health beats one more set every time.
